Koi in Broken Net

A magnificent example of koi as model of a couple facing adversity together. Koi patterns are often used for futon and offered as wedding presents. In most cases a pair of fish fight their way up a waterfall. In this example the pair are tangled in a broken fishing net, so there’s some hope of survival.
This is an exceptional example as the density of the dark koi is balanced by the intense presence of the net.
